Description
The current work-in-progress smoothness measures applied to raw NIFTI data effectively identify scans significantly affected by artifacts, such as those caused by metal braces. However, it's observed that excessive fat around the neck and back of the head can also increase smoothness, resulting in false positives. To improve accuracy, the standard deviation threshold used to flag 'Fail' in the smoothness check needs adjustment to better isolate cases of genuinely poor quality.
