planetminecraft not working

so i tested the connection on planet minecraft, it is working. but when my players actually vote, nothing happens. how do i fix

Double check votifier is setup correctly on planet minecraft

but i did, i gave it the right port, but everytime i reload the page the port disappears from the text box. is that meant to occur? it even says that it successfully made a connection with votifier

Do test votes reach the server?
