Available memory Framework mainboard II

The available memory in the factory installed ubuntu is about 16 GB. Is this expected? Additionally, the factory image is missing the AI models that should be present according to the documentation available here.

Based on the documentation uploaded since I posted this, my guess is that the NPU and CPU ram have separate pools, and about half is allocated to each by default?

As for the AI models, I was able to mount a copy of the ubuntu AI image and run deepseek (though not through the provided es-ollama, as it did not pick up the config pointing it to the provided models).

This memory configuration is set as the factory default due to memory allocation for the NPU. This setting can be modified through configuration adjustments, and we will release relevant documentation this week.
The factory image includes the DeepSeek-R1 model, which has been pre-installed in the directory.
