vanillin crash with wool when enabling item entity

Describe the Bug

after enabling the item instancing in config, dropping a piece of wool onto ground causes crash

Reproduction Steps

1. enable everything in config
2. drop a wool onto ground

Expected Result

i get improved fps for use cases like create fan processing or vanilla storage tech
