Failing to run gxcore and create context

Hi ! Hope you can help me to run gxcore on the newer version 2025.1. We change from version 8.5 to 2025.1 and the code compiles fine but at runtime It fails on the GXContext::create(..) with the error message "Missing or incorrect geosoft.key file or GX_GEOSOFT_BIN_PATH..."

Here are all the setup we tried without success.

-release and debug build
-GeosoftRedist under Insight\x64\Release (or Debug)
-geosoft.redist and geosoft.redist.text in:
GeosoftRedist
GeosoftRedist\bin
buildFolder\

-replacing dll from GeosoftRedist\ instead of those from the redist\ of the SDK
-copying all content of GeosoftRedist\ under Insight\x64\Release
-copying all of GeosoftRedist\bin\ under Insight\x64\Release
-having a geosoft.key file (single line: Core) file near the geosoft.redist
-initializing with or without a window handle
-initializing with or without CREATE_GEO_FLAG_OWNDIR
-content of geosoft.redist with absolute path pointing to GeosoftRedist, or to %localappdata%\Geosoft (expanded), such as:
buildFolfder\GeosoftRedist\user
buildFolder\GeosoftRedist\temp
-SDK versions 2025.1 and 2024.2

GX_GEOSOFT_BIN_PATH was set to different locations such as :
buildFolder
GeosoftRedist
GeosoftRedist\bin
