Overview of the Idea
For years, this idea has been attracting me. I'm confident it could attract many people from the Bitcoin community to our project. Bitcoin holds a special place as the genesis blockchain, and many people still see it as a safe way to store their wealth. I believe we can leverage this connection to encourage Bitcoin users to join our project, MASQ.
Attracting Bitcoin Users
I think it will be easier to bring Bitcoin supporters onto the MASQ platform once they realize they can use their Bitcoins to run it. This could enhance our reputation as an agnostic application that focuses on debt settlement through blockchains, appealing to a broader audience, including those who may prefer other blockchains.
Benefits of Using Bitcoin
Bitcoin is particularly well-suited for the type of debt settlement MASQ requires. Its transaction structure, based on Unspent Transaction Outputs (UTXOs), simplifies batch payments compared to EVM. This quality could make our project even more efficient.
Looking Ahead
While I’m not an expert in implementing this idea, I am eager to learn and work on making this vision a reality. The main technical challenge I see is that MASQ uses an older version of Rust, which poses a barrier. We need to finish "We are falling behind" before we proceed with the implementation.
I truly hope this idea will come to fruition one day.
