Description
KCRP Discord Linker Update
Essentially, replace getting automatically kicked from the server or being prevented from joining if you're not in the discord server. Instead, the user should be prompted in-game to join the discord server, then promoted to verify (if applicable), then be allowed to continue.
What does this problem solve?
This will allow us to hopefully retain players for longer and keep them on the server - instead of them seeing a "disconnected" message and going to look for a different one.
How will this work?
A pop-up should display on the player's screen over everything else, and the player should continue loading in the background while they see this UI. The UI should be a simple box instructing them what to do, linking the discord & keep the player informed on the status of their linking process.
Other Notes
The player should not complete the "Flying Into Kelly County" cutscene at the start of the game fully if they're not in the discord. The plane should land, then the player should remain in the plane until the linking process is successful.
