Cannot open nd2 files obtained with version 5.21.03 of the acquisition software 

Hi! 
I'm trying to use nd2reader with some nd2 files obtained from a Nikon NIS Elements but I get a "ZeroDivisionError". 
The version of the the acquisition software is 5.21.03. 
Since I've read that nd2reader has only been tested with version 4.13, is it possible to use it with files obtained with a later version of the acquisition software?
