[Bug]: puppet runs hang on hosts with a hung NFS mount

Describe the Bug

if a host has a hung NFS mount, facts that interact with mountpoints will hang also, preventing puppet from running

Expected Behavior

puppet should not hang

Steps to Reproduce

1. get a host with a hung NFS mount
2. run puppet on it
3. the puppet run will hang

Environment

Version [e.g. 1.27.0]
Platform [e.g. Ubuntu 18.04]

Additional Context

maybe add timeouts to affected facts, and/or make them opt in
