Fraudulent Domain Related to Your Project

I am currently performing outreach to over a hundred web sites and open-source projects related to a pay-to-play content farming operation that has a domain similar to this project. This may be known to the project already but our scale of notification has made it difficult to spend time checking 1-by-1.

Hi! If the info isn't sensitive, feel free to post it here or ping me on the Stardew Valley Discord. This is a hobby open-source project though, so there's very little I can do about any malicious third-party domains.

No problem! The domain we spotted was smapidown[.]com in a research project that has led to 120+ similar notifications so we generally just tried to be less likely to create new signal on their domain. And totally understand, many projects are in a similar boat.

We are taking some additional efforts directly, which may help, but overall wanted to ensure all projects at least had a clue to share to their communities as needed. Thank you for responding!
