As being mentioned in our Pollynet Processing Chain webninar, the configuration files are very complex and scattered in different places in the repository, which make it difficult to understand. Here, we describe the configurations in a very brief way and summarize the important information to facilitate your understanding.
There are four different configuration files, as below:
GConf is to control the general behavior of the processing chain, for instance, the save path, the resolution of generated images and etc.
See a template here
CLF is a log of all finished or ongoing campaigns. It serves as a look-up table for searching the polly configuration file and default file.
See a template here
PConf is to define the system configurations, for instance, detection channels, required parameters for lidar retrievals and etc.
See a template here
PDF is a simple table for providing default lidar calibration constant, for instance, polarization calibration factor, lidar constant and etc.

Regarding the details of each keyword in the configuration file, you can check this webpage.
The file namings seem not to be unified, after four years of development... We HOOOPE you will not get into trouble of it. If it does, just list your comment under this post.
I just notice there are many redundant template configuration files in the repository. I will clean them to remain ONLY one copy.
