Ome converter will often crash randomly when converting images.

What is the current bug behavior?

Images are only partially converted and the user will experience random crashes.

What is the expected correct behavior?

All images should be converted and failed conversion reported.

Steps to reproduce

Convert images with any BBBC dataset.
Ex : BBBC004

Also sometimes the program will just hangs. Rerunning it several times usually will lead to results.
