No, the iOS version of SEB requires to set a quit password to run in the locked-down Assessment Mode. The reason for this is, that there must be a way for an exam administrator/proctor/supporter to manually exit from the Assessment Mode, for example if Wi-Fi, the internet connection or the assessment server breaks down. Obviously that quit/exit password needs to be individual to an exam provider or even a single exam. That's why you have to configure a quit password. |

Dear community,
we're working on a workflow for a secure exam environment. We’re using safe exam browser and have the possibility to track the start of the exam. Also we have a running counter to track the duration.
If we open our environment in safe exam browser without any configuration file or don’t set an exit password, you are able to leave the exam unnoticed on iOS with the gesture for app switch. The start date/time stays the same and the timer is still running. In the meanwhile, the student is able to look after some information in the internet and come back to the exam again.
Is there any possibility to deactivate the gesture (for example via config file) to prevent this without setting a password?
Thanks in advance
