Symbolic links cause startup crash

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install Forge & ReAuth
2. Use a symbolic link for the game folder (may also happen if config is a symbolic link- not tested)
3. Try to start minecraft

My specific setup is that my multimc .minecraft (inside the instance folder) is a symbolic link pointing at another folder.
