How does a layman such as myself "update your config.plist"?

I'm only asking because after searching for a way to do this on Google it does not bring up an answer. If Propertree is used for this be more specific! ;P

This is a very basic step outlined in the Dortania guide (when you add kexts to the EFI and snapshot). Please re-read the guide so you don't miss any other basic info.
