Might be worth updating your instructions as I used the Fine-Grained token first and couldn't authenticate. You need to specify Classic token as the instructions lead you down the path of fine grained in the first instance so it's not immediately obvious that there are two choices.

Thank you for the suggestion. GitHub has added the fine grained token option fairly recently, so I will update the link and specify it should be the classic type.

Unfortunately, my credentials to update the repository don't work right now and it might take a while to get access, so if you don't see the changes right away, that will be why.
