yes for cakephp 3.6 i am getting

Right but that's just because of the composer file. It's not a difficulty with cakephp 3.6 compatibility. I am currently running it on 2 separate Cakephp applications as a manually installed plugin and it works just fine. I would make a pull request but I don't think he is actively updating or checking it anymore.
