Suggestion: Offset Detection

Hello,
This tool is a lot of fun, but I find myself more often than not missing one character, and that leads to a cascade of errors due to that one missed character. I was wondering if it was possible to detect such errors, and only treat them as a single offset error.

e.g. "How are you today?" typed out as "Ho are you today?" would be only one error.

Should it only be one error though? If you were in a real world situation, you would have to go back and correct that mistake. So the cascading errors have an unintended consequence of forcing you to go back.

You make a good point ... I just see it as a fun tool to pass time and enjoy typing absentmindedly. This makes it very appealing for me if backspace wasn't even allowed at all... but.. perhaps my use case isn't what this tool was made for 😅

It would be great if there was an "infinite" mode that would behave as you said and also not have a timer.
