Deleting large takesnapshot logs

• Can the files named like takesnapshot_1.log in /home/username/.local/share/backintime/ be deleted or could this cause any issues (maybe they are used somehow...for example to quickly display things in the GUI)?
• If deleting them doesn't cause any problems, please add auto-deletion of old large logs to BIT. For example by adding a setting that is enabled by default to delete logs after x days if their size is larger than y MB.

Another option than deletion would be to replace the log with a smaller log that contains just the most important infos such as errors.

(Auto-deleting them can be very useful but easy to implement if you run lots of backups and/or accidentally enabled lots of logging and/or have a small partition wherever BIT runs on.)

Good point. We need to rewrite the whole logging mechanic in BIT with the goal to use pythons own logging package. And this will be a part of it.
