Currently we're using Derby in embedded mode, and it is configured to only have a single connection in the db connection pool: [INFO] access.QueryLogger Created connection pool: jdbc:derby:database/componentSearchDB Driver class: org.apache.derby.jdbc.EmbeddedDriver Min. connections in the pool: 1 Max. connections in the pool: 1 I assume that we'll want that number to be a bit higher.
