i want to be able to add a new contact,
in order to manage my contacts.

Acceptance criteria

• The form with all entry options is visible there
• There is a button to submit the form
• The created contact is visible in the contact list and as a detail page
• add new contact button on the circle of friends page
• after submitting the form form reset and a new contact can be added

Tasks

• create a branch
• create a new page "create contact
• create there a form with all input options
• link the form to the local storage
• create a button "add a friend" on the contacts page

I have some remarks. In your value proposition you could do. something like :
As a user
i want to be able to add a new contact,
in order to manage my contacts.
Acceptence Criteria:
-what about the add new contact button on the circle of friends page?
-The created contact is visible in the contact list and as a detail page- here you could say the new contact is saved in the database, because then its is going to be accessible and rendered on your list and as detail page.
Tasks:
-Fetch the database into the project- maybe you do need to"fetch" it. Create a local database file
-find a way to write to the database- maybe rewrite this as a task what a developer needs to do
-make it possible that the form writes to the database- here the same, maybe a little more precise about the task it self

Acceptance Criteria

• "The table with all entry options is visible there" - It is a form and not a table or? 😅
• "the new contact is saved in the database" - this is more of a developer task and not a acceptance criterion. It is enough to say that the new contact is visible in the contact list, what you describe in another criterion
• you could also describe what happens after submitting the form (redirect to the contact list, form reset and a new contact can be added etc.)
• you could also describe where the new contact is displayed: is your list sorted alphabetically and the new contact too?

Tasks

• I am not sure why you need a database? For now you can work with states or put the data in the local storage if you want to have the new contact list after refreshing the app

In general: Your checkboxes are bulletpoints. Is that your intention? 🤔

Hi Calle,
I highly recommend to start with a database only when you have implemented all frontend features that you want to have during your capstone time. It is easier to focus on the frontend first with what you have learned and frontend development is also the focus of our bootcamp. It is not really necessary to have a backend in this early stage of your app. We always recommend to think about building a backend in the third week.
I hope this explanation helps. :)
