NODE.JS-Would it be possible to use geoquery on location field stored inside an object on multiple locations?

I am trying to store multiple different locations inside an object,would it be possible to use geoquery on locations field inside an object (i.e field=location.location_1) ,currently it returns no matching docs within near radius.Does it work if we store location fields inside an array?
