Idea about backing up DB more efficiently

I've always wondered if someone could get https://github.com/benbjohnson/litestream integrated with plex, since it would replicate the DB asynchronously, and would be backup actively vs a crontab schedule.

You ever look and see if this would be possible with litestream, since it really would become the best of both worlds.

This is a great suggestion! Especially useful after a power loss for instance. Do you already have some experience with the tool? If so please make a suggestion how Litestream should be implemented to your knowledge.

If this is going to be implemented it would be an addition to the current available image. Meaning it would not be enabled by default. At least, not until some prolonged testing has been conducted.
