Licensing plans?

Pimcore will switch to POCL for pimcore 12 so I wonder what the plans for coreshop are? Will you drop the GPL version and switch to CCL only for coreshop 5?

We have no final decision yet. We will have to drop GPL for POCL reasons. As soon as we know, we let you know

We have a decision now. We created our own, POCL compatible, Open Code License. There is no point in being "Open Source" when the system, you depend on, is not. One thing though, if you only use the Bundles like Messenger or Index, they are still free to use. If you use the whole Suite for eCommerce, you have to get a paid license.

So coreshop will switch the license and there will be a paid license only, right? No free version if you are below any monetary limits or something?

But: We still give away the Bundles. If you only need Messenger, go ahead, you get it for free. So we still give something back to the Community. Not everything though.
