yes I have seen the remark in the Readme, but this does not help for NPM configuratons that use strict mode because they will decline it if it is not supported in the engines field.

Because of that your library is not usable for such configurations.

Please consider adjusting this so that it represents the version range the library works on (or at least LTS node.js versions when there is no reason against it).

Actually, I tried to do so. But, somehow, the build chain rejected to do so. I mean, I just cannot make them happy that time. That's why I have no choices but marking it as node 22 if recalled correctly.

Please let me know if there way for doing so. I will keep this issue open for a while
