MPNotificationView screenImageWithRect: EXC_BAD_ACCESS KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS

Hi,

My applicatio is crash beacus of MPNotificationView I see my crashlytics bug resport and i found that some problem here

[MPNotificationView screenImageWithRect: ]

and problem is EXC_BAD_ACCESS KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS

And also this is issue is alwase appear

Please help me for solve this problem

Interesting… It seems like your app is trying to display a MPNotificationView while in background and the system kills your app because apps in background are not allowed to make any GPU calls.

I would suggest you try to make sure that you don't call MPNotificationView methods while in background. That would be the quickest solution to your problem.

Ideally MPNotificationView methods should return without doing anything when called from a background app.

I don't know when I might get around to implementing this. Please feel free to submit a pull request if you do it.

Ok Thank you, But My MPNotificationView Not call in background

I am facing same crash within my app also.

While i already handle that MPNotifiactionView methods should not call in background mode.
I have write this line of code to check app state and if this condition is true then only call MPNotifiactionView methods.
if ([[UIApplication sharedApplication] applicationState] == UIApplicationStateActive)

But my app still crashes with same crash reason as in above screenshot.
Please suggest.
