How to write a mangle polygon with pymangle

Hi! This is more of a question than an issue. I wanted to transform my masks from Healpix to Mangle format. I was wondering if you could kindly make an example where RA, DEC and Weight are written to a mangle polygon? I would really appreciate that.

pymangle only supports reading of mangle files, not writing them. Writing them is ... non-trivial, and I have no recommendations on how to do it except for "don't". Which is not a satisfying answer, but it's all I can give you.

For writing mangle, you can use the original mangle code https://github.com/mollyswanson/mangle There is also code to write mangle masks in IDL, written by Michael Blanton. There is some limited capability in this python package https://github.com/mollyswanson/manglepy Note however that it is quite slow and not fully featured.
