Painfully slow past 1000 lines of text

I was working to convert some output that's over 3k lines long, and it takes Woop almost a whole minute before it becomes responsive after the initial paste.
I'm not sure if the character count matters. The lines I was converting weren't very long (~50 characters per line).
Tried copying some random lorem ipsum text over and over, and seemed to get similar results.
