  • partisynth visual hand effects
    • update with velocity based particle behavior and audio volume
    • charcoal-textured particles
  • velocity-based screen shake—port in "charge" shakes from EMPM
  • velocity-based clap detection—impact screen shake
  • velocity-based control of grains in Max
  • use hands as inputs for movement in fluid effects
  • different behaviors for "masculine" vs. "feminine" vfx for gendered hands
    • match up hands with user skeleton positions
    • apply hand gender from user gender
    • high-fives that impact gender of both the user's representation and the hands
