Has the "unknown bug in KDE" been reported or even figured out?

As mentioned in the [Known Issues](https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/Battle.Net.md), there's an "unknown bug in KDE" which makes the installation crash on KDE.

I'm currently not yet ready to switch my DE and am curious if anyone has been doing any work on that front or not.
