wxmax + SDL: System driver already configured as Win32SystemDriver

While trying to compile my editor on Windows I received this error:
Cannot initialise SDLSystemdriver. System driver already configured as Win32SystemDriver.

Does wxmax initialize the systemdriver already?

After recompiling the .a-libraries to make the current revision work with "jpegloader.mod" (and its libjpeg stuff) I still receive this message.

So while my code tries to use some SDL stuff, wx seems to already use a driver. Ideas how to circumvent this?

Ok for now I removed the SDL-dependencies in my code (importing "bases"/stubs while my game then calls the real implementation utilizing SDL).

But still "SDL" might be needed if gl2sdl is used on a canvas (eg. some kind of "game editor"?)
