[Feature request] only notify during relevant times

As a student in rainy northern Germany, I commute on my bicycle on weekdays; I would like to know ahead of time if it will rain during my commute. Using the app, I get notifications all the time, even when I'm at home and not planning to go out. I could disable notifications temporarily, but I'm sure I'll forget to turn them on again later. What I need is a way to be notified only when it makes sense for me.

I see two possible solutions; there are probably many more:

1. Have a widget that tells me how much it will rain in the next x minutes; that way I just need to unlock my phone briefly before going on a ride.
2. Allow me to set schedules of "on" and "off" times for alerts
