Feature request - Auto copy text to system clipboard

I would like to see an option, that lets you enable generated text getting copied to the system clipboard. This way I could quickly paste it into another application like an AI chat window.

The way it would work is:

1. You start the listening mode.
2. Speak .
3. Stop listening mode.

Text gets generated and displayed in the App's text window as usual.
Text also gets copied into the system paste bin.
Now you can paste text where ever you like.

Right now I need to click on the APP window to activate it, then click on the copy icon.

When you're working with shortcuts, avoiding all this speeds up the workflow.

The feature could have an option to enable via the Apps setting. Some people might not want it on all the time. Maybe add another icon (in the edit window) so you doesn't need to go into setting to toggle this feature.

Hi. I think what you describe is already implemented.

There are following features:

1. "Start listening, text to clipboard" global keyboard shortcut (default Ctrl+Alt+Shift+J). After STT, decoded text is automatically copied to the system clipboard. To enable keyboard shortcut go to Settings->Accessibility->Use global keyboard shortcut. The shortcut is global, so it works even if the app is in the background or minimized. If you on Wayland, global shortcuts are possible only if you DE supports XDG Portal Global Shortcuts API. New GNOME and KDE Plasma support it.
2. "Start listening, text to active window" global keyboard shortcut (default Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K). After STT, the decoded text is converted to simulated keystrokes, so it is automatically inserted into any window where your cursor is located. On Wayland you need support for XDG Portal Global Shortcuts API and also ydotool installed and configured.
