Description
Hi, thank you for this great tool! it makes my life better!
We know that in modern Windows 11, many of the software we commonly use at work already support night mode.
I'm using NegativeScreen together with Windows Night Light. Some of my applications already support dark mode (e.g. VS Code, Windows Terminal), while others (e.g. legacy winform /c++ apps) remain bright and white.
Currently, NegativeScreen inverts the entire screen, which causes dark-mode apps to become too bright.
Feature request:
Add an option to invert only specific windows, based on process name, window title, or class name — i.e., a whitelist mode. match them.
Is that right? I actually didn't really understand how NegativeScreen worked when I wrote this. I didn't know the difference between processing pixels in a full screen and in separate windows. If this is technically possible, please consider it?
This would greatly improve compatibility when using mixed dark/light applications.
Thanks for considering this!
