Thanks for the program.

The newer version 2.6.1 of 2021 precisely the "Binary.zip" is reported by 1 vendor as malicious.
The 2.6 version instead is reported as secure.

In order to not open another issue there, note that also ColorMatrixViewer, the .exe file downloaded from the site, is repoted as malicious by 1 vendor. It's the same vendor: MaxSecure.
Note: the download URL is secure for Virustotal.

Ah, thanks for the report, that's unfortunate...

Making a few searches around the web it seems this happens (somewhat) a lot with this vendor and it seems they use heuristics that are a bit lousy and prone to false positives...

Since it's not clear what triggered the match as a malware I don't know what I can do to avoid it.

Ok, thank you for the explanation.
Searching the web now I found various possible false positive cases and bad opinions on credibility of the vendor. It could be a bad one.
So the report may be a false positive.

I used to consider Virustotal always accurate, but it's not. For me it's not always easy to understand the accuracy of a Virustotal response.
I'm thinking that VT could be often misleading to a novice or as the only source.
