Sample App in the Repo not working

I was trying to build a sample app with Mparticle Branch Kit and just made changes in the branch key and mparticle key and secret.
Now when I run the app, it gets stuck on the Splash Screen as we depend on Branch to be initialised to move to Home Screen Activity.

Now when branch sdk is not getting initialised internally we are stuck on the splash screen infinitely.

1. Can you please confirm if the Sample App shared in Mparticle Kit Git Repo is still functional ?
2. If it is not functional are there any changes in the code or implementation of the branch sdk kit?

@vamsi-branch I looked into this in detail. There were deprecated Gradle and library versions in the sample app, which I’ve updated. Other than that, I don’t see any issues with the sample app itself.

With the correct credentials configured for the Branch Kit integration in https://app.mparticle.com/
, the sample app runs correctly on my side and the Branch initialization completes as expected.

Could you please share logs or any additional information from your setup? This will help us understand what might be causing the issue on your end.
