Data augmentation

Thanks for much for your work in preparing this repository, it is an incredibly helpful resource. I was wondering whether you (or anyone reading) has experience combining this workflow with on-the-fly data augmentation (rotation/flip etc). There seems to be a reasonable body of evidence that augmentation improves performance in digital pathology tasks.

The training code inherited from the inception net repository already features augmentation.
You can find it in https://github.com/ncoudray/DeepPATH/blob/master/DeepPATH_code/01_training/xClasses/inception/image_processing.py

The augmentations are random resized crops, color augmentation and flipping. From my experience the use of augmentations is quite crucial for the model to generalize.
