Paste was archived 6 months ago, and last week an advisory has been created for it: https://rustsec.org/advisories/RUSTSEC-2024-0436.html

It's only used in one place within faux so it is probably something that could be done in a different way but unless there is an easily available replacement crate, and since there aren't any actual security issues, I don't think there is really anything to do here that is urgent.

Agreed, it's nothing but a low priority annoyance. Still wanted to raise awareness though.
