chymotrypsin digestion

Hi,

I digested my crosslinked complexes with chymotrypsin only. But there is no chymotrypsin option in the 'Enzyme'. Can anyone provide a solution?

Dear Ying,

You can configure your enzyme using the pConfig plugin in pLink.
To open pConfig: Go to Options (at the top of the pLink GUI) → Meta Data Configuration
Alternatively, directly open pConfig.exe in the bin folder of your pLink installation directory.

Then select the Enzymes tab, as shown below:

You may mimic the configuration of Trypsin and click Add to add the enzyme you need.

According to Wikipedia: Chymotrypsin, chymotrypsin primarily digests at the C‑terminus of phenylalanine (F), tryptophan (W), and tyrosine (Y) amino acids.
