If conventions generation fails, try again automatically, also give user ability to regenerate with a command

currently if the conventions generation fails, the only way to recreate the is to redo init. This also applies to the project overview. Error case should be handled and retried at least once automatically. an additional command should be available to the user to generate these at anytime, even if they exist already (project may need to be updated, etc).
