Your appetizer struck a cord with me, but then I'm quite partial to having less, yet better code.

I was thinking, what happens when a developer fluctuates between 101% and 99%.

To keep on par with a steady 100% one needs to have 184 days of 101% and thus 181 days of 99%.(blue lines)

The fabled 10x developer would then need to keep a 101% for 299 days (green lines). That is 82 % of the year.

"days of the year" with 101% would probably be a better label,
