Many solutions out there. Currently, we're using electron builder, which is fine, but a little lackluster since it uses NSIS under the hood for windows updates (poor UX).
We should pick a build tool option out of:
- electron builder (nsis)
- electron forge (squirrel)
- velopack
Factors to consider
- DX
- Migration experience (we'll need to run at least one electron builder + new builder build in parallel)
- Installation experience
- Update experience
