Most files have executable permissions

I notice that most of the files in the distribution have executable permissions. Perhaps I am just being obsessive, but I wonder if that might be corrected if it is not a characteristic of the original distribution that you would rather preserve.

In any case, thank you for creating and maintaining this repository!

Hey, I'll take a bit of time to compare the original archive because I can't recall any details about it at the moment. I don't think it's a necessary characteristic to preserve, and in any case, it will still technically be preserved, heh.
