project diverging from trunk #104

i have just checked-out this repo for some exploration and comparison to the original tip4commit project - i was o/c not able to fork them separately as they still share the same trunk - but the first thing i noticed was that this project has drifted significantly from the trunk nearing to the edge of compatibility - as there have been no merges with the trunk in over six months i think its safe to assume that none are planned - if this is the case i would propose that the peer4commit project break away from tip4commit for the obvious reasons but would add that it would be better to attempt a reconciliation while this is still feasible
this would naturally be beneficial for both projects as new features added to one could be easily merged into the other - i had at first considered working on both projects for this reason but implementing the same feature on both projects with the current state of things is not nearly as straight-forward as it could be
