I am a content creator and developer working on educational Islamic content for social media platforms, doing my part in spreading the message!

Your purpose in using this API:

I am building an automated system to generate short Islamic reminder videos for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.

The API will be used to:

Search for hadith related to Qur’anic themes
Retrieve hadith text in Arabic and English
Access authenticity information and references

Content will be strictly limited to Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, and full hadith attribution will always be displayed.

API rate limits:

Requests per second: 1–2
Requests per day: Approximately 50–100
This is a low-volume educational use case.

Is your use case better served by offline data or API access?

Programmatic API access is preferred for keyword-based searching and up-to-date translations.
If needed, an offline JSON dump of Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim would also be acceptable.
