Describe the problem

We have a large(ish) model (486M rows, 1.94GB). We uploaded the VPAX file and it has been scanning for >1hr.

Is this expected behavior?

@charlespickettau Thank you for reporting this. The analysis usually takes only a few minutes, but an error has caused the job to remain pending without completing. We have identified the issue and are investigating the root cause to implement a fix.
We'll provide updates as soon as we have more details. Thank you.

@charlespickettau We have released a temporary fix to resolve the issue and allow the analysis to complete successfully. The execution is now completed, and you should be able to see the results in DAX Optimizer. However, we are still working on it, as the issue may reoccur in some cases. We will keep this GitHub issue open until the permanent fix is deployed.

Thanks Alberto, that's great. It is a fairly large/complex model so I'm not 100% surprised it could have caused a bug.
