Can't add new users to a group

Describe the problem

I can't add my colleague to my group. His account was able to be added to my personal account with no issue.

No names show up in the dropdown.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Go to Settings,
2. Go to Groups
3. Click 3 dot menu on the group
4. click + user
5. type in User name (also tried email)

@charlespickettau Your colleague's DAX Optimizer account is a personal account authenticated with a username and password, rather than an organizational account authenticated through Microsoft Entra ID.

While you can share a workspace with any account - personal or organizational (as you did from your personal account) - only organizational accounts belonging to the same Entra ID tenant can be added to a group.

To be added to the group, your colleague will need to create a new account with a different username and select the "Microsoft Work Account" option during registration. Once created, this new account can be added as a member of the group.
