Discussions which may be related to Interactions

Hi folks,

I'm listing here some discussions and issues that I believe that are related to the species interaction topics.
Few people who are participating on this IG have also participated on this discussions in the past. So the ideia here is to give a update on this topics and let new members to know about what have been proposed in the past and why.

From all these discussion above, it look to me that the community is moving in the direction to adopt dwc:ResourceRelationship class a pattern to share associations between records.

So, should interactions go in the same direction? It brings some thoughts to me:

• What we are trying to do here?
• What is the problem with dwc:ResourceRelationship for share biotic interactions?
• If there is no problem with Resource Relat, then, does this class fit the needs to share basic information about biotic interactions (A interaction_type B)?
• What more do we need for biotic interactions beyond of identifiers (A and B) and a interaction type?

Interesting to know what people think about it.
