Steps required to set up Pledge profile seen as long, confusing #27

In the walkthrough of the Logging into Savio document that @rjaffe did on Feb 2, 2015, he noted that while the instructions in step 2, on setting up your Pledge profile, were clear if read carefully and performed sequentially, they seemed long and confusing when taken in the aggregate.
He suggested that one way to approach this would be to 'signpost' the need to do this at the very beginning of the instructions for that step; almost literally, "take a deep breath, and read through the instructions below once before you start."
There may also be other ways to address possible confusion here, such as minimizing, hiding, or removing the parenthetical tips provided on two or more of the instructions under this major step.
