Description
Thanks so much for all your work on this!
I'm having some issues with volume control, and while I'd be happy to develop and submit a fix I'd like to check that I understand the situation properly first.
My media centre runs Libreelec and volume is controlled via Kodi (as opposed to via TV, AV receiver etc) which works just fine.
But running Moonlight I have no volume control - and since I usually run my Kodi volume far below max, it's way louder than my normal content too.
My understanding is that Moonlight expects volume control to be done on the client side; they don't even forward volume hotkeys (which appears to be a deliberate design choice).
So I'd like it if -
- volume/mute key inputs during operation adjust the Moonlight output volume, and
- the Kodi volume setting is used as the initial Moonlight volume (and maybe vice versa too, but that's probably harder).
Is this currently supposed to work and I'm using it wrong?
If not, it would seem like adding a hotkey daemon and some volume scripts would be the way to go. What do you think?
